HeadStart Restore

Dramatically shrinks the time needed for system recovery. Create a restore job and your point-in-time backup images are automatically recovered as a virtual machine. In the event of a system failure simply finalise the recovery and boot the system to a .VHD or .VMDK file for near-instantaneous system recovery.

Backup

Fast and reliable disk-based backup that captures full, differential and incremental point-in-time backup images of your entire system. This includes the operating system, applications, configuration settings and data. Schedule full and incremental backups for automatic protection of everything on your Windows Server. Guardian’s off-site backup system can have you up and running within 10 minutes unlike many other products on the market that can take up to 4 hours.

Recovery

Guardian provides rapid recovery a number of ways: full bare metal recovery through a bootable recovery CD; recover to similar hardware; or recover to dissimilar or virtual environments with Hardware Independent Restore (HIR).

File and Folder Recovery

Quickly browse to specific files and folders in your point-in-time backup images to perform granular recovery of your data.

VirtualBoot

Right-click any Guardian Server point-in-time backup image and automatically boot it as a virtual machine.

Virtual Converter

Take a Guardian Server point-in-time backup image and convert it to a .VHD or .VMDK.

Management Console

Guardian management console allows you to simultaneously push install Guardian Desktop, Server or SBS to other physical or virtual machines. Check the status of your system backups, import or export system information and create groupings for simplified management.

Verification

Guardian ImageManager also verifies and re-verifies backup image chains to ensure that your backup images are in a known good state for fast and reliable recovery should a disaster occur. Notification -Track the status of backup jobs through the notification tools in Guardian ImageManager. This features allows you to set e-mail and SMTP configurations so you can be notified of backup job success and failure automatically.

Consolidation

Automatically consolidate backup image files with Guardian ImageManager. This minimises backup storage consumption and streamlines backup image management by providing consolidated daily, weekly and monthly backups.
